Power Budgeting

The battery can only sustain so many Amps of current.
Electrical conductors can only carry so many Amps of current before they melt or cause too much of a voltage drop.
Circuit breakers and fuses are designed to conduct a limited current before they open.
Competition rules state how much current may be used in certain components.
Several devices that are will NOT be run at the same time may be connected in parallel to the same circuit breaker.
